BRANSON, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference announced the the All-Conference teams, award winners, Academic All-Conference and Champions of Character on Monday evening.
Junior utility player
A'Kiayah Scales (St. Louis, Mo./Mineral Area College) was named First Team All-Conference. Scales led the team with a .446 batting average, 41 hits, seven doubles, one home run and 51 total bases.
Junior second baseman
Rakiara Bogan (Cape Girardeu, Mo./Mineral Area College) was named Third Team All-Conference. Bogan was second on the team with a .398 batting average, six doubles, 37 hits and 47 total bases. Bogan led the team with 24 runs scored, two triples, 11 walks, a .467 on base percentage, and 13 stolen bases,
Senior
Noemi Tudon was the Lady Hornets selection to the Champions of Character team which includes one player from each school, selected by their coach and teammates as the individual who best exemplifies the Five Core Values of the NAIA Champions of Character® Initiative – Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Integrity and Servant Leadership.
